About

In short-form webisodes, #HashtagTheShow portrays the painful and surreal moments in the lives of BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) in a satirical comedy format. We make sketches that center our perceptions of the world and how others perceive us. We write and produce based on real-life situations and exaggerate them for comedy’s sake. Season one is currently available for streaming.

“A testament to a good sketch show is the ability for the art to imitate life’s absurdities and make it funny. #HashtagTheShow takes obscure/ popular absurdities of the black, POC, and American tropes under the knife to expose how raw but funny these elements can be.
